Chinese company Xiaomi ranked second in global smartphone shipments in the second quarter of this year. Shaomi has lost its No. 1 position in global smartphone shipments between April and June, according to a report by market research firm Canalis. According to Canalys, Samsung tops the list of top 5 companies with 19% market share. Xiaomi has a market share of 17%. This means that Xiaomi has lost its No. 1 position with 2% market share. Third on the list is tech giant Apple with a 14% market share. So Oppo and Vivo are in the top-5 with a market share of 10% -10%. There are 3 Chinese companies in the top 5 list.
