The new update will allow users to send photos, videos and audio of any size

Upon sending photos, the user will get 3 options to select its quality

WhatsApp users have so far complained that the quality of the photo is low when it is sent. Sending a photo taken in high quality like 64MP loses its quality, but now these complaints of the user will come to an end. WhatsApp will release high quality photos send features in its new update. WhatsApp's feature tracking website WABetaInfo has given information about this upcoming feature.

The new update will have 3 options

WABetaInfo shared a screenshot of the upcoming feature on Twitter. Accordingly, the user will be able to determine the quality of the image at will. It will have an auto option which will be by default. The second option would be 'Best Quality'. The third option would be 'Data Saver'.

WhatsApp will determine the image quality in the ‘Auto (recommended)’ option. It will compress and send the image. Videos in the best quality can be sent in HD. Low quality video can be sent in 'Data Saver'. Receiving video in the best quality will take more time than sending, although it will depend on the speed of the network.

Currently only audio, video and photo sizes up to 16MB can be sent on WhatsApp. According to WABetaInfo, this feature is currently in the testing phase on the 2.21.14.6 beta version of Android.
