Radar sensors will help users know the reasons for falling asleep

Amazon will use a radar system to monitor customers' sleep patterns. The company has taken its permission in the US. This will allow the company to understand the speed and sleep patterns of the users.

Amazon on June 22 sought permission from the FCC (Federal Communications Commission), the body that regulates airwaves, to use radar. The technology picks up speed in 3 steps, the company said in a filing. It allows users to control its features with simple gestures and movements.

How much sleep will be known

According to Amazon, the feature could help people with impairments such as mobility, speech and touch. Sleep will also be monitored with high degree of accuracy. The use of radar sensors in sleep tracking can improve wakefulness and sleep timing, Amazon said in its filing. It can save people from many diseases. Radar sensors will help users know the reasons for falling asleep.

The company has not disclosed on which device the technology will work, but it is confirmed that it will not be for a mobile device.

Google also uses a radar system

The FCC has previously given permission to Google to use the radar system. It has all these features from a radar to a pixel smartphone. Amazon has a wristband called Halo. It emphasizes good health. This device monitors body fat and voice tone. The company has long been developing technology that works at the behest of the customer. However some reviewers do not consider this device good.
