Mahindra recalls 600 diesel vehicles, recalls due to engine defects

Mahindra, the country's leading vehicle manufacturer, has recalled about 600 diesel cars. According to the company, its engine has been found to be faulty which is why the company has taken this decision. The vehicles were manufactured by the company at its Nashik plant between June 21 and July 2, 2021. The company's vehicle was earlier found to be defective in the diesel variant of the Thar model.

The company will inspect the bad diesel engine in this car and replace it. It is believed that these engines broke down prematurely due to bad fuel. However, Mahindra did not say in which model of the company the fault occurred.

Will be serviced for free

Mahindra said customers would not be charged for the service of the vehicles. The company will contact the affected customers and inform them about it.

The fifth largest company

Mahindra & Mahindra is the fifth largest passenger vehicle manufacturer in the country. It currently manufactures utility vehicles such as Thar, Scorpio, Marazo and XUV 300 at its Nashik plant.
