You can link the Aadhaar card with the driving license. To ensure driver safety, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) has asked all drivers to link Aadhaar cards with driving licenses to avail contactless services. Its purpose is to prevent forgery of documents of fugitive drivers in road accidents. With it the police can easily find the accused and collect complete information about the driver.

To link the license to Aadhaar, first go to the State Department of Transportation's website
Click on this link support and select the driving license from the drop-down menu
After doing so enter your DL number and click on Get Details
Here you have to enter your Aadhaar number and mobile number
Click Submit as soon as this process is complete
After doing so, OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number.
Now enter the OTP and complete the process of linking the driving license with Aadhaar
