ISRO launches five-day online course for standard 10-12 students, register by



    The five-day program will be taught from 26 to 30 July 2021

    There will be two online lectures of 45 minutes per day


The Indian Institute of Research (ISRO) has launched a free online course for school students. ISRO, through the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS), has solicited applications from students for a five-day program called Usefulness of Remote Sensing and GIS for Environmental Study. The last date to apply for the course is July 20.


Started this course to awaken the students

According to the notification, the aim of the course is to raise awareness among the students about the study of the earth and its environment along with remote sensing technology. Using satellite data and image processing will help students understand the smallest detail of the environment.


Classes will run July 26-30

Students of standard 10, 11 and 12 can apply for this course. The five-day program will be taught from 26 to 30 July 2021. His lecture will be shown live on IIRS's YouTube channel. There will be two online lectures of 45 minutes each day. One at 10 a.m. and the other at 12 p.m.

Students will also be able to ask questions

Students can also ask questions in the chat box during the lecture. Students will get their questions answered after five minutes of the lecture. If a student cannot participate in the live session they can attend the recorded lecture uploaded on the IIRS Learning Management System portal. It will be updated daily at 3 p.m.
