Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has again increased the prices of its Honda Shine bikes. The price hike has come as a shock to its customers. The company has increased the price of this popular bike by Rs 1,200. The Honda Shine's drum brake variant is now priced at Rs 72,787 from Rs 71,550. Also, the price of its disc brake variant has gone up from Rs 76,346 to Rs 77,582. These are all ex-showroom prices in Delhi.

Prices had risen just last month

Earlier, the company had hiked the price of Shine by Rs 1,072 just last month. This is the third time in the last three months that the company has increased the price of its Honda Shine. This is Honda's best selling bike in the country.


Engine Details

Talking about its power performance, it has a 125cc engine. Its engine generates 10.72 bhp of power at 7,500 rpm and 10.9Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm. Its engine is equipped with a 5 speed gearbox. It has a petrol tank with a capacity of 10.5 liters. The curb weight of its disc variant is 115 kg. As well, the curb weight of its drum brake variant is 114 kg.


Dimensions

The length of this bike is 2046mm, width is 737mm and height is 1116mm. As well, its wheelbase is 1285mm. Whereas, its ground clearance is 162mm. Its seat length is 651mm and height is 791mm.
