The International Data Corporation (IDC) today released a new report. According to him, the Indian software market (7. 7.6 billion) is projected to reach Rs 56,000 crore by the end of 2021. India's software market was projected to be around Rs 52,000 crore (7 7 billion) in 2020, an annual increase of 13.4% over 2019.


India's share in Asia is 17.5%

In 2020, India's share of the software market across Asia / Pacific (excluding Japan and China) (APEJC) was 17.5%. Software companies like Microsoft, Oracle and SAP were at the forefront of the Indian market during the year 2020.


Growth projected at 11.6% over the next 4 years

According to IDC estimates, India's overall software market is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 11.6% from 2020 to 2025. According to the report, Indian enterprises will continue to invest in technology that will improve their operations and improve employee performance while helping to drive innovation and boost business.


IDC expects the platform-as-a-service (PaaS) and software-as-a-service (SaaS) market to grow in all software markets from 36.8% in 2020 to 57.1% in 2025.


Increases in IT and sales sector higher than usual

According to the report, the epidemic has increased the importance of IT in business. As well as the hiring of sales jobs has increased since the lockdown. The report is based on an analysis of 263,000 profiles from 17 sectors in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai and Pune.


The sales sector grew by 9.82% and the IT sector by 8.55%, higher than the normal increase (7.12%), it said.
