The pace of vaccination is also slowing as the pace of corona slows. Not enough vaccines are being allocated by the central government which has forced the state health department to stop the vaccination process on the pretext of Mamata Day. The vaccination process will now be closed on Sundays and Wednesdays across the state.


Preparations are in full swing for a possible third wave of corona but the pace of vaccination at the opposite end has slowed.


A massive vaccination campaign was launched in Motaupad but due to lack of vaccines, businesses have been created. In Gujarat, when the corona has returned, the pace of vaccination has slowed down instead of accelerating.


The vaccination process will now be closed twice a week i.e. on Sundays and Wednesdays. According to the state health department, vaccinations are closed on Sundays for health department employees to spend time with holiday shift families while vaccinations will not be given on Wednesdays due to Mamata Day.

Health officials claim that 3 crore people have been vaccinated in Gujarat so far. The central government will send another four lakh vaccines tomorrow. So it is wrong to say that the vaccine is missing.


The Department of Health calculates that if vaccinations are stopped two days a week, the number of vaccines will increase in time and more people will be vaccinated.
