The rule of mandatory dual airbags on the front seat in every existing car model has been scrapped for 4 months. For now, airbags are mandatory on the driver's seat in older models. However, the vehicle manufacturing organization Siam demanded an extension of time. The government has now avoided the inevitability until December 31st. However, the rules in the new car will remain the same as before. From April 1, the rule of mandatory airbags for front seat passengers in new cars is applicable.


Airbag compulsory in new car

After mandating airbags in new cars from the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, car manufacturers have started offering airbags for driver and front seat passenger in every car.
