 Tata Motors has updated the Nexon EV with new features, from new designs to alloy wheels and fast charging.

Tata Motors has quietly made some major changes to its popular electric SUV Nexon, with the company making a number of changes to the dashboard and infotainment system from the wheel base of this SUV. Along with this, Tata Motors has also made many changes in its Ultras hatchback car. Let us know everything about it.




This change will be seen in Tata Nexon

With the new update the Nexon EV's physical buttons and knobs that control many functions of the 7-inch infotainment screen previously had 6 buttons and two rotary knobs, which were placed under the AC vent. These buttons and knobs have been replaced with 'Nexon' branding in Chrome. Buttons were used to control many functions such as home, favorites, rear, front, smartphone and back functions, and knobs were used to control the volume and radio tuner. The company has now given a touchscreen feature in the update for this.

Modified alloy wheels of Tata Nexon EV

The Nexon EV has previously been given alloy wheels with a dual tone five spoke design. The SUV wheels were previously given an eight-spoke design, which has been replaced with 16-spoke wheels.

Fast charging facility will be available

The company claims that the Tata Nexon EV has fast charging capacity and according to the company, it takes 60 minutes to charge a 0-80% battery using a CCS2 fast charger. Customers will also get free home charger installation and 24x7 emergency charging support. Tata Motors benefits from India's largest public charging network by partnering with Tata Power. Apart from this, the battery also has an 8 year / 1.60 lakh km warranty.
