New Delhi: Search engine company Google has announced a new website. Google's new website will help people facing food insecurity. This company is named Find Foof Support. It has a food locator tool.
The company said in its blog that the food locator tool is powered by Google Maps. It allows users to search their food bank, food pantry or school lunch program. They can pick up the site from their community. Google is working with some non-profit groups for this.
Google is working with some non-profits, such as No Kid Hungry and FoodFinder. He is also working with the US Department of Agriculture. It will provide free food support to 90,000 locations in 50 U.S. states.
The company has said it will add more locations in the near future. This new website is part of Google's new Benelli Food for Good team. This project was previously known as Delta. It was headquartered in the X Moonshot Division of Alphabet.
The company is building a smarter food system through Project Delta. It will use data to enhance communication between food distributors and Curb Food Waste. The US Department of Agriculture has also given a definition for food insecurity.
