The Indian Air Force has released a short notification for the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 2021. Through this examination, a total of 334 posts of Flying Branch and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) will be recruited in the Indian Air Force. The online process for this space has started from 1st June. Interested and eligible candidates can apply till June 30.
Qualification
Candidates applying must have passed Maths-Physics in standard 12 pass, 12 with 50% marks.
Age
Flying Branch: Candidates applying for this post should be in the age group of 20 to 24 years. Age will be calculated from July 1, 2022.
Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical): The age of the candidate for this post should be 20 to 26 years. Age will be calculated from July 1, 2022.
Selection process
An online AFCAT examination will be conducted for the selection of applying candidates. The ground duty candidate has to sit for the Engineering Knowledge Test. Final merit will be declared based on the result of both AFCAT and AFSB examinations.
Exam pattern
The 2 hour 45 minute exam will have a total of 100 questions. It will have General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability, Reasoning, Military Aptitude. The paper will have a total of 300 marks.
